Infertility Stories
Unfortunately statistics show that there is a huge increase in infertility problems all over the world. However research by the University of Stockholm clearly shows that there is a major increase in infertility problems, especially in modernized countries of the world. Particularly in the United States, there is a huge increase in the number of couples who are of fertile age but unable to conceive a child. This can really become annoying, as many couples who may be experiencing infertility problems can end up getting separated or even divorced.
Of course, there are several major reasons why this happens. The increase in the pollution, smoking, excess intake of alcohol, fatty foods, inorganic and processed foods etc. all contribute to this problem. Many couples are distressed due to this and many couples are also unaware of the many options that they may have for solving their fertility problems.
For example, take a couple from say Florida, whom we can call Bill and Jane. This couple had a wonderful married life for the past 6 years. In fact, their marriage was shown by many people to be an exemplary marriage. Although Bill is now only 31 years old and Jane is 26 years old; they have been unable to conceive a child. They have tried everything they could on their own for the past three years. They want a child to top off their great love for each other. After many unsuccessful attempts, they started to get angry with each other and they started to blame each other. The result was disastrous, as they came to the edge of divorce.
However, after advice by their friend, they were able to search and find many couples with various infertility stories of their own on the internet. There were many forums with hundreds of different infertility stories, or even medical and social websites which specialized in different solutions to the different infertility stories and cases out there. They quickly found out that there are some new medical therapies as well as acupuncture and marriage counseling to put their lives back on track. Thus, after a year of concentrated effort and with the help of their friends and that of medical professionals, they were able to solve their infertility problem. Today, they are happy parents with two kids.
Unfortunately, these infertility stories don’t always end up with a happy ending. Many couples do not know what to do and they inevitably end up depressed and unhappy with each other. However, by using the Internet and by reading about the infertility experiences of other couples in similar positions, perhaps they can understand that this is a widespread problem and that these problems can be solved with patience and with professional help. There are many different infertility forums and bulletins out there and most of the material on these sites can be very helpful to such couples. Of course, the best help can be provided by your doctor and your acupuncturist and at least you will know that you are not alone in this endeavor.
